Movie Review: Apollo 11 (Documentary)
This film is directed by Todd Douglas Miller.
This film is a documentary about the Apollo 11 mission with actual footage and audio.
This is my favorite space film of this weekend!! (let the hate begin, or perhaps let it continue). What a fantastic and extraordinary documentary!! This film is made with actual footage of the mission and audio too. This film took me back into this time in history and it made me experience the entire mission as if I was there. We all know the outcome of this mission and even then this film manages to keep me in suspense. I found myself in awed throughout majority of the film. The visuals are outstanding and the cinematography is superb. I’m not entirely sure how this film did it but I was anxious when they landed on the moon. The sound editing adds to the suspense. I admit I learned a few new things. This documentary should be watched if you’re a big space nerd and love NASA. We are always caught up on our everyday lives that tend to forget that we aren’t the center of the universe. Another thing I took from this was that anything is possible when we set our minds to it and when we all unite to work together. I absolutely loved this film and I highly recommend watching this film preferably on IMAX.
I give this film a 9.5 out of 10
